LOS ANGELES, CA, December 21, 2011 (Press-News.org) Rising star actor Steven Mango took some time out of his busy schedule recently to make sure to give back to those less fortunate. Stopping outside the Grove, he added some holiday "glee" to the red Salvation Army kettle.
"I support The Salvation Army and I have made several sizeable donations to them in the last few weeks," he said. "I'm always looking for ways to give back. It makes me feel good to help out the less fortunate in any way I can, especially during the holiday season. I encourage others to donate and to do good works of faith. Let's all pay it forward."
The young actor, originally from Boston, who has recently appeared in hit shows such as Glee, Big Time Rush and True Jackson, VP also spread some holiday cheer for sick children. He brought a large collection of much needed toys to the Britticares International Toy Drive for children with cancer at Children's Hospital in Los Angeles.

It was so great to see everyone come together and help out the cause. Over 300 toys were delivered for Britticares! I definitely feel like we brought several smiles to those children's faces that day."
Mango believes in giving back to the community that has given him an opportunity to become an up and coming young acting star on television and in film. Recently, he appeared in episodes of Glee. He also has had roles on the Nickelodeon hit television shows Big Time Rush and True Jackson, VP.
"I am very privileged to be a recognized television star in Los Angeles and I want to give back to needy people that are less fortunate than me," Mango said.
