Celebrated singer returns to the spotlight to debut her first single "I'm Still Here" off the new album, The Seventh Child.

NEW YORK, NY, December 22, 2011 (Press-News.org) Renowned legend Sarah Dash returns to the spotlight with her next highly anticipated project. The songstress debuts her first single "I'm Still Here" off the new album, The Seventh Child, on Tuesday, December 20th.

Bringing Dash's 50-year career full circle, "I'm Still Here" serves as an inspirational anthem combining her spiritual roots with R&B and pop influences. Comprised of motivational songs with a contemporary flare, The Seventh Child, releasing in January 2012, showcases her multifaceted musical range.

"My spirituality played a huge role throughout the process of recording the album," states Dash. "'I'm Still Here' is a product of all the things that inspired me from my childhood to today."

Dash rose to stardom as a founding member of Patti Labelle & The Bluebelles, which later formed into the influential and internationally renowned, Labelle, famously known for the top-chart hit "Lady Marmalade". In 1978, Dash launched her solo career with a self-titled album including disco classic, "Sinner Man."

Some of Dash's favorites from the album include the title track "I'm Still Here", along with "Don't You Know He'll Take Care of You", "The Light of Mine", and "Something Inside of Me."
