ROCHESTER, MI, September 23, 2010 (Press-News.org) For years Rochester Mills Beer Co. has been known as one of the best venues in Oakland County for food, friends and beer as well as a great place to catch live bands with no cover charge on the weekends. Now they are expanding their entertainment offerings to Thursday Nights with live, original local music. Presented by Lazy Daze Records, The Mills Greenhorn Music Night is a great opportunity to catch three to four up and coming artists perform in a fun, intimate setting. Enjoy Happy Hour prices 4 PM - close, and $6 growler refills.

Following in the vain of American Idol, Battle of the Bands and America's Got Talent, guests will have the opportunity to vote electronically for their favorite bands on stage-side kiosks. Based on patron response and music style, bands that receive the most votes may be booked to perform headlining shows at the Rochester Mills Beer co. or acoustic performances at Mind Body & Spirits restaurant. There could even be a Lazy Daze Record contract up for grabs.

Artists interested in the opportunity to perform a 45 minute set of their own original music must submit a copy of their music to 400 Water Street, LL3, Rochester MI 48307 for management for review. Or they can drop off copies at the restaurant, Attention: Greenhorn Night.
