Bucks County, Pa. Excavators Led by Lou Bencardino Begin New Jersey Project at Eagle Point Refinery

Bencardino Excavating Set to Refurbish Sunoco, Inc.'s Off-Loading Station

BENSALEM, PA, December 23, 2011 (Press-News.org) Bensalem, Pa.-based Bencardino Excavating, led by Louis A. Bencardino, was recently contracted by A.T. Chadwick Company, Inc. to perform work on the Eagle Point Refinery in South Jersey, which is owned by Sunoco, Inc. The Bucks County, Pa. excavation company will handle all site work, excavating and utility installation on the refinery's fuel off-loading station. Bencardino Excavating's project manager will be Dave Fink, and Lou Biskup will serve as the site foreman.

Eagle Point Refinery is located in Westville, N.J. In early 2004, Sunoco, Inc. purchased the refinery from El Paso Corporation, increasing total processing capacity by 20 percent and producing chemicals such as benezene, touluene and xylene. In 2009, due to the economic downturn, the refinery's production was idled, however, refined product storage and handling operations at Eagle Point have continued.
