BALI, INDONESIA, December 27, 2011 (Press-News.org) Bali's annual Jazz Market by the Sea will take place once again at the Taman Bhagawan venue in Nusa Dua next month.
To be held between January 6th and 8th 2012, the event will see talented musicians from around the world - including many local acts - performing in a vibrant market-style festival, complete with stalls and other attractions.
Performances this year will be given by the likes of Khatulistiwa, Savana Zapoiya, Lisa Soul, Erin Band, The Hydrant, Syaharani and The Brass Sections, among many others.
The purpose of the event is to showcase the talents and innovative styles of musical acts, while a dedicated music coaching area will help to foster interest in jazz among attendees.
Meanwhile, guests will also be able to wander the market stalls and purchase handicrafts and food, while also taking in family activities such as train rides, pony rides and a mini zoo.
Events run on the Friday from 16:00 until 23:00 local time, while the Saturday and Sunday programmes kick off at 14:00.
Tickets cost 50,000 rupiah (GBP3.50) for adults per day, with kids under 12 can getting in free.
