NONTHABURI, THAILAND, December 27, 2011 (Press-News.org) A Muay Thai vs Martial Arts fighting event will be held at Nonthaburi in Thailand in February 2012, in aid of a good cause.

To take place at the MCC Hall venue, located at The Mall Shopping Center in Ngamwongwan, it will pit experts of the famous Thai boxing discipline against practitioners of several other styles of martial art.

The history of Muay Thai goes back hundreds of years and has its origins as a close combat battlefield fighting skill.

Audiences will be able to watch Muay Thai champions facing off against top-line judo, karate, taekwondo, capoiera and wrestling pros, with competitors including the likes of Bo Blaylock, Zendo and Hampus Larsson.

Proceeds from the event will be donated to international charity organisation the Red Cross, in order to support victims of the recent Thai floods.

The Muay Thai vs Martial Arts show will get started on the Saturday afternoon at 15:00 local time and runs through until 17:00, with doors opening half an hour before the start.

Tickets range in price from 500 baht to 1,500 baht (GBP10.20 to GBP30.70) and will go on sale from December 24th 2011.
