Remington College Launches "We are Teachers" Campaign

New ad campaign highlights Remington College's commitment to all aspects of teaching

2011-12-29
HEATHROW, FL, December 29, 2011 (Press-News.org) Remington College, a non-profit college with 20 campuses across the U.S., debuted its new "We are Teachers" ad campaign today. The campaign highlights Remington's focus on teaching both in and outside the classroom.

The campaign features local broadcast, print and Internet advertisements. Each ad uses actual Remington College faculty and staff who explain what they teach students. Each employee highlights an area that they work in such as student finance, career services or academics.

Teaching doesn' t end at the classroom door

Remington College views every employee as a teacher in some capacity - whether it's instructing a student on how to enroll in college, working with students on their resumes or sharing their real-world experiences in a specific subject area, all employees at Remington College are dedicated to the mission of teaching.

"Remington is introducing a series of ads honoring our faculty and staff by highlighting the many ways they help our students every day. Unlike manufactured products which can be produced uniformly, education is effectively "custom-built" every day in the classroom and throughout the campus. Accordingly, education is only as good as the quality and commitment of the people who provide and support it. I think our people do a wonderful job and this is our way of publicly recognizing their dedication and commitment to the success of our students," said Jack Forrest, President and CEO of Remington Colleges, Inc.

As a non-profit, Remington College doesn't have the advertising budget that many for-profit institutions have so we had to find a mechanism that truly communicates our mission - quality teaching with the unified goal of helping students succeed.

Teaching is about more than just books and classrooms

Mike Lanouette, Chief Academic Officer at Remington College said, "There are so many choices that prospective students have in career colleges. I want our students to experience a quality education delivered by a dedicated faculty and staff. I love that we're putting the spotlight on everyone on our campuses. They all work hard to make a difference in the lives of our students."

We're all teachers at Remington College. And we' re all here to help.
