World of Wonders - Dubai Surprises Again and Again

Dubai with its futuristic skyscrapers, immense shopping malls and gigantic hotels is an unique major project defying all crises.

2010-09-24
BERLIN, GERMANY, September 24, 2010 (Press-News.org) Making the impossible possible is one of the main targets of the major project Dubai. Urban development is not left to chance. Dubai is worldwide known as the metropolis which is breaking records in the construction industry daily, not seldom their own. The emirate belongs with its capital to the most innovative, richest and most opulent places in the world. The financial crisis also influenced Dubai and brought in the short term some construction work to a standstill; however the term "abandon" is not used in the language of the mega-city. After all, at least one remains loyal - the tourist. The first half report confirms 4,2 m. hotel guests, which means a growth of 9 percent compared to the previous year. The incredible projects are reason for inrushing curious visitors from all over the world. The famous first seven star hotel "Burj Al Arab" belongs to one of the highest rated hotels in the world and can be seen as a landmark for eternity. The legendary hotel "Atlantis", situated on the "Palm Jumeirah", owes its name from philosopher Plato's legend of the lost city. With 1539 rooms it is the biggest hotel in Dubai (15 receptions!) and accommodates various underwater worlds. The world's highest building, "Burj Khalifa", offers 54 elevators, to crest the 828 meters. Naturally the following highest tower is already in progress, the "Nakheel Tower", which will reach on completion a height of one kilometre. The three palms and "The World" are not even completed, however the next artificial island landscape, "The Universe", is already within the planing phase to bring sun, moon and planets into the Arabian Gulf. The DTCM lists 107 projects, which are growing constantly to generate a holiday destination which has to be discovered again and again. The discoverer's rush will soon be handled via the world's biggest airport "Al Maktoum International", at the same time leading freight hub. Dubai will have the pleasure to count two airports as one of the few cities. After arriving at the face, visitors can float through the city inside the hyper modern and completely driverless metro. In the near future both city parts will be connected by the world's largest arched bridge. The "Dubai Creek 6th Bridge" will escort 12 lanes and one metro line across the water. The "Rotating Tower" rotates each floor at will and thereby generates its own energy, even 20% more. The simple but cost-intensive trick of the city - always exciting guests with projects of all kinds and creating irresistible attractions, which welcome any fantasies.

This world of wonders which should certainly not be missed - the service "Dubai Exclusive Hotels" of the tour operator "Emirates Exclusive Hotels" invites with pleasure to take interested discoverers onto a journey into the future!
