Ergonomic Specialist Endorses Elite Home Theater Seating Design

Many homeowners and decorators who are building a special theater experience for the home have turned to Elite Home Theater Seating for their premiere line of customized seating for home theaters.

2012-01-11
BLAINE, WA, January 11, 2012 (Press-News.org) The best home theater sound and projection systems in the world won't amount to much if the viewer doesn't have a comfortable chair to relax in while experiencing the latest Hollywood blockbuster. When an actual movie theater wants to entice customers, they do so by improving the seating, but they'll never match the sheer pleasure of sliding into a custom designed chair created by Elite Home Theater Seating. Not only are these chairs a beautiful addition to any home theater but they are also exceptional in terms of seating comfort. That is according to Dr. Grant O'Neil, a D.C. Doctor of Chiropractics who is also an Ergonomic Workplace Specialist.

The three areas of the Elite Home Theater Seat that Dr. O'Neil highlights are the headrest, the lumbar support and the patented "dual-cushion" seat design. For the headrest, the designers have strategically placed the cushion to "provide the optimum head and neck support while maintaining the best possible viewing angle." This allows the viewer to literally lean back in comfort.

In terms of the added lumbar support, Dr. O'Neil has deemed the Elite Home Theater Seat to be "excellent support for the lower back." Part of this excellence can be found in the unique foam used for the cushioning. As a viewer's natural body heat warms the chair, that foam actually becomes softer, which allows for more conforming to a body's contours.

Finally, the dual-cushion design allows for an occupant's weight to be evenly distributed throughout the cushions. This is the same type of exquisite seating design utilized in some of Europe's finest sports cars. With this proper weight distribution, pressure is reduced on the lower back while the cushions support and lift the legs.

The design team at Elite Home Theater Seating also points out that their recliner mechanism is an integral part of the home theater seating experience. "All of the different parts of a theater recliner including the arms, seat back, seat cushion, and foot rest are all attached to the recliner mechanism. Since it acts as a foundation and base, it must be designed and crafted to withstand a lifetime of use. Weighing over 60 pounds, and made of solid thick steel, it would be an understatement to call our industrial grade recliner mechanism "heavy duty". Our Recliner Mechanism is covered by our standard 10 Year Warranty."

Simply put, this is a seating experience like no other.

Elite Home Theater Seating is a US company based in Washington that manufactures custom high-end theater seating, adhering to the highest levels of furniture excellence.
