Opening day of ITEC Show exceeds expectations

International Tire Show a Hit in Cleveland

2010-09-24
CLEVELAND, OH, September 24, 2010 (Press-News.org) The opening day of the International Tire Exhibition & Conference (ITEC) yesterday exceeded expectations as evidenced by the standing-room only attendance at many of the educational seminars and traffic on the trade show floor, according to the show's organizers, Rubber & Plastics News and Tire Business..
For the first time since its founding in 1994, the ITEC show was expanded in 2010 beyond its traditional tire manufacturing audience to include the entire tire industry. Among the attendees at this year's show are tire dealers, tire recyclers, retreaders and tire industry personnel from the U.S. and around the world.
In addition to the trade show and educational sessions, ITEC attendees also were treated to an opening night cocktail reception hosted by the conference's corporate sponsors Bridgestone Americas, Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp., Pirelli Tire North America Inc., VMI Group and BKT Tires North America.
This year's ITEC show offers a trade show with 213 exhibitors and nearly 52,000 square feet of exhibit space sold.
The ITEC show continues today and tomorrow at Cleveland's I-X Center located near Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.
