Michelin Star Chef To Serve Up Ace Dishes At Wimbledon

One of Britain's best loved chefs, Angela Hartnett, is set to serve up a four-course treat for Events International's guests during this year's Wimbledon Tennis Championships.

2012-02-08
LONDON, ENGLAND, February 08, 2012 (Press-News.org) One of Britain's best loved chefs and one of the highest profile females in the industry is set to serve up a treat for Events International's guests during this year's Wimbledon Tennis Championships.

Gordon Ramsay's former protege and Chef-Patron of Murano, Angela Hartnett MBE*, will be collaborating with Smart Event Catering on a four-course menu for hospitality guests at the Lakeview Restaurant.

The British summertime event will also be hotting up outside of the kitchen as the fierce rivalry continues between Murray and Djokovic alongside the battle of the blondes - defending champion Kvitova and former world no. 1 Sharapova.

Celebrity chef Hartnett has long been working alongside the best in the industry including Marcus Wareing but she shot into the public eye when she appeared alongside Ramsay in Hell's Kitchen during 2004. She has since appeared on Tonight with Trevor McDonald, on BBC Two's Great British Menu and in 2007 she was awarded an MBE for her services to the hospitality industry.

Based at the Lakeview Restaurant, opposite the All England Club at Wimbledon Park Golf Club, Events International's hospitality packages during the fortnight of tennis include the seasonal four-course lunch within the idyllic clubhouse.

With bookings available from two upwards, or private dining for groups of between 12 and 70, packages start from just GBP495 plus VAT including tickets to No.1 Court or Centre Court, morning coffee and biscuits, champagne reception, complimentary bar, four-course lunch, strawberries and cream afternoon tea, car park (one per two guests), entertainment, a souvenir programme and VIP hostess service.

For more information call Events International on 01432 263263 or visit http://www.eventsinternational.co.uk

Note to Editors:
* Angela Hartnett is also non-executive director of Smart Event Catering.
