The Edinburgh Dungeon hosts Terrible Torture Fest

February 11th to 19th - Scotland's best scare attraction will give their torturers a free rein on visitors this February half term

EDINBURGH, SCOTLAND, February 08, 2012

February is traditionally the 'month of atonement.' That's why every day of February half term will feature Terrible Torture at The Edinburgh Dungeon, with dark punishments from the last five hundred years demonstrated on petrified visitors.

Visitors will come face to face with a Dungeon torturer wielding grisly instruments like tongue tearers, thumb screws, and the Judas Cradle... to name but a few.

The torturer has a good nose for sinners. Dungeon guests are advised to keep a weather eye out for him as he will pounce on anyone looking at all guilty.

The Dungeon's Judge Mental will be in his courtroom ready to give the torturer a helping hand. His dock will be open for business trying reprobate wrong-doers, metering out suitably severe punishments.

Terrible Torture comes ahead of the Edinburgh Dungeon's upcoming show focusing exclusively on William Wallace's grisly end. This is the perfect opportunity for the torturer to swot up on the most painful practices ahead of re-enacting Wallace's gruesome final moments again and again.

Terrible Torture will run everyday across February half term, 11th to 19th and is included as part of the existing ticket price.
