Once again, they will bring their new vision to life at the prestigious Metropolitan Pavilion 125 W 18th St. New York, NY 10011 on February 14, 2012 at 7:30pm with a star studded guest list and power house editors and buyers. This season's runway show will showcase a collection themed: IVANKA: "If We Ever Meet Again".
Inspired by the fictional muse, "IVANKA" created by the SACHIKA TWINS, the collection will reflect the style of a mysterious sultry secret agent who is on a mission. This season, SACHIKA is using a combination of wool crepe, leather, faux fur, silk chiffon & charmeuse, delicate lace, suede among other luxurious fabrics to create their signature cocktail dresses, jackets, and separates. The audience will be transported into an action thriller where each runway model will be portraying IVANKA at different moments.
Known for their creative and original runway shows, SACHIKA will open up with a short film directed by Actor/Director Matias Desiderio. The short film will introduce the character of IVANKA and elude the audience into an exciting world. The runway show will close with a live performance by a special surprise guest.
SACHIKA is proud to have Alisha Crutchfield, CEO/Fashion Director for StyleWise as the official head stylist for the Fall/Winter 2012 Runway show. With both Miss Universe 2011 Leila Lopes & Miss USA 2011 Alyssa Campanella confirmed to walk the runway show and with music & soundtrack produced and written by Don Parma, SACHIKA is promised to deliver an incredible show.
