KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA, February 23, 2012 (Press-News.org) Kuala Lumpur will become a haven for shoe shoppers this March when the Malaysia International Shoe Festival 2012 is held in the city.
 
Billed as the largest shoe fair in the Asian nation, the event will take place at the Putra World Trade Centre from March 29th to April 1st and will be the third edition of the annual show.
 
This year's festival aims to build on the success of previous iterations and will see hundreds of brand chain stores, manufacturers and designers showing off their wares.
 
Also on display will be footwear accessories, massage services and foot health-related stands, while various workshops and catwalk shows will demonstrate the very latest advances in design.
 
Other fun events include shoe and foot-painting competitions and a "price is right" guessing game, with pairs of exclusive Jimmy Choo shoes available as a prize.
 
Guests are expected to travel from across the world to attend the festival, admission for which is completely free.
 
The first day of the show is designated for trade only, but members of the public will also be able to drop by from March 30th onwards between 10:30 and 20:30 local time.
