Boral Stone Products Earns Top Recognition at The Third Annual "MVMA Design Awards" Event

MARINA DEL REY, CA, February 23, 2012 (Press-News.org) Boral Stone Products LLC, America's #1 manufacturer and supplier of manufactured brick and manufactured stone, was honored with 11 awards for its Cultured Stone product line during the third annual Masonry Veneer Manufacturers Association (MVMA) Design Awards. The event took place at the Rosen Plaza Hotel in Orlando, Florida on February 8, 2012 during the annual MVMA Winter Meeting at the International Builders Show (IBS) 2012.

The MVMA Design Awards recognizes the work of contractors and designers who are setting trends by featuring Manufactured Stone Veneer in their projects. This year's event recognized 36 projects in nine categories. The contest theme, "Natural Beauty Fashioned in Stone," aimed to showcase the beauty and authenticity of manufactured stone.

Boral's Cultured Stone manufactured stone product line won 11 of the 36 awards (31%) - more than double the amount of the next closest manufacturer (Environmental and Veneer Stone both won five). Of the nine Platinum awards handed out, Boral beat out all other manufacturers with three wins (33%). Following is a list of Boral's awards:
