ARS Professional Development Helps Businesses Beat Recession Woes With Brand New Bible-Based Business Course
New business course uses a mixture of biblical principles, lectures, case studies, group exercises and a final project to help aspiring and existing business owners start and grow their business.

Andrea Richards Scott, owner of ARS Professional Development will be leading a business development course entitled Prospering Your Business God's Way for small business owners and solopreneurs. This course uses the Bible as a framework and employs a proprietary 7-Step System that enables students to create a solid plan for their business.Participants learn how to identify their vision, recognize their specific audience, articulate their message, develop expertise, use business systems, determine the best communications methods, and establish supportive teams. According to Andrea Richards Scott, "The recession has caused many people to become unemployed or begin the search for more control over their destiny. Business ownership is a viable option and community-oriented churches are helping individuals get affordable access to the information they need to get started or grow their businesses."
In this course, students will combine their vision and passion with biblical principles and wisdom to create a strategic action plan based on the Word of God. At the end of the course, they will be able to design a plan which answers the following questions:
•Who are you and what were you called to do?
•Who do you serve and what do you offer?
•What is your message?
•What do you do best?
•How can you work ON your business instead of IN it?
•How will you get the word out about your business?
•Who will you enlist for support?
The course will be held on Wednesday evenings from 7 - 9 p.m. beginning March 7, 2012 and concluding April 25, 2012. All classes will be held at The Disciple Factory - Reid Temple North's Christian Education Institute located at 12101 Tech Road, Silver Spring, Maryland 20904. There is a one-time $25.00 registration fee that will be collected at the first class.
