Enabledoc EHR Transitions Former GE Centricity Users at No Cost

GE Healthcare has announced that it will no longer support its Centricity Advance EHR product. EnableDoc has offered to convert offices no longer able to use their EHR system to EnableDoc at no cost.

2012-03-14
MCLEAN, VA, March 14, 2012 (Press-News.org) GE Healthcare has announced that it will no longer support its Centricity Advance EHR product. Users will have read-only access to the system as of June 30, ending on December 31. GE Healthcare plans to offer their Centricity Practice Solution in place of Advance. EnableDoc has offered to convert offices no longer able to use their EHR system to EnableDoc at no cost. EnableDoc offers one cloud based solution that handles electronic records and billing for $300 per practitioner per month.

EnableDoc is a web- based ONC ARRA certified electronic health record (EHR) and practice management solution (PMS). Their modular system allows offices the flexibility to determine what aspects of the system they will utilize. They charge a monthly fee for services and do not require a long term contract. Functionality such as medical billing, personalized rules engine, communications portal and labs is included in the base fee.

Transferring patient records from one system to another can be a costly and time consuming process. EnableDoc is offering Centricity Advance users the ability to convert to a new system without the cost traditionally involved with such a transition.

About EnableDoc
EnableDoc is an affordable, web-based suite of electronic health record (EHR) and practice management solution (PMS) designed to cost effectively improve the quality of patient care, collaborate on care, and enable groups to successfully manage and grow their business.
