SAN DIEGO, CA, March 14, 2012 (Press-News.org) WDM Group announces significant additions to its senior level staff on Monday, March 12, 2012. As the company closes the first quarter of 2012, WDM Group is pleased to announce Nathan P. Weber as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Weber will oversee all aspects of corporate finance and accounting, including: financial reporting, management, planning, and analysis, as well as organizational leadership and personnel development. He will be based at WDM Group headquarters in Carlsbad, California.
"I am excited to become an instrumental component to the vision, and financial strategy of WDM Group," said WDM Group CFO Nathan Weber. "It will be my job to help position the company financially for future success. Joining WDM Group comes at a good time in my life. As certain chapters in my life are drawing to a close, I now have an exciting new chapter opening. In my experience, things seem to happen for a reason, and I believe this opportunity is no different in that regard."
As a seasoned financial executive and certified public accountant, Mr. Weber has amassed nearly two decades of professional experience - 10 years in corporate finance and 10 years in consulting.
"By appointing Nathan to the position of CFO, this will allow me to continue the strategy and brand development whilst working on new ventures outside of WDM Group," explained Glen White, founder of WDM Group. "Nathan has the experience and organizational development to oversee and maintain all aspects of WDM finances, accounting, monthly management accounts and budget forecasting. As such, he is suitably poised to continue our growth as a company."
Prior to his financial career, Mr. Weber served honorably in the United States Navy. Military service and duty forced him to grow-up and mature quickly; which he did, achieving the rank of E5 - Second Class Petty Officer in his first two years of service. For most of his military career, Mr. Weber served as a work center supervisor giving him new insight about leadership, management and accountability. During his enlistment, he was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal for professional achievement. Nathan also took advantage of the GI Bill, pursuing a degree in Business-Accounting at California State University, San Marcos where he graduated with honors in 1993.
