Longistics Names Jeff Tankersley Director Of Trucking Operations

Working from the company's trucking operation hub in Memphis, Tankersley will oversee the daily operation of the motor transportation fleet to consistently attain the highest level of safety, security and customer service, as well as work directly with clients to determine needs, develop contracts and monitor customer satisfaction. He will partner with operation managers and coordinators to ensure that deliveries are made promptly and securely, and that company policies and procedures for security and safety are being communicated effectively.

Tankersley has more than 10 years in the logistics and trucking industries. He previously served as regional general manager for Diligent Delivery Systems in Memphis. He earned a Masters Certification in Lean/Six Sigma from Villanova University in Pennsylvania, a Master of Science in operations management from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in business leadership from Belhaven University in Jackson, Miss.
