RAPID CITY, SD, March 14, 2012 (Press-News.org) Every March basketball fans from around the United States take part in the excitement and fun that surrounds college basketball's biggest tournament. Sponsored by the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association), this five week tournament determines the national champions of college basketball for both men and women. This year one local credit union is taking part in sponsoring a March Mayhem contest in correlation with March Madness that is being provided by Black Hills Fox News for Rapid City residents.
"We are ecstatic to take part in March Mayhem Bracket Contest that will be put on by our own Black Hills Fox News. It is a great way to bring folks together to take part in a friendly competitive contest to see whose picks make it to the final round. As part of our sponsorship we will be giving a winning player a $75 Visa Gift Card," said Dawn Laskowski, Director of Business Development with Highmark Federal Credit Union.
The bracket contest will be open to the public and offers a variety of prizes from local sponsors like Highmark Federal Credit Union that can be won at different stages during the March Madness tournament.
"To play, viewers will have to logon to the Black Hills Fox website through their Facebook page or they can create a new account. From there they will be able to pick their teams and hopefully win some exciting prizes," added this Rapid City Credit Union Director of Business Development.
