Translation Cloud Sets Sights On SXSW

Translation Cloud crowdsource application API is steadily rising in popularity.

2012-03-22
NEW YORK, NY, March 22, 2012 (Press-News.org) Translation Cloud, http://www.translationcloud.net, the application that provides an automated system of crowdsourced translators for almost any program it is integrated into is steadily growing in popularity.

Translation Cloud released their API in February, and is already being used in a variety of applications.

One subscription-based company that provides daily recipes to their customers has integrated Translation Cloud into their program. Instead of pre-translating the contents, by integrating Translation Cloud, any customer that needs the recipe and its subsequent text translated can choose from the available languages in the Translation Cloud app, and receive a professional translation in almost no time at all.

The small fee that comes with using the Translation Cloud service becomes incorporated into the customer's subscription cost, and due to the Translation Cloud's stored translation memory, there is only a one time charge per language translation. This allows for increased revenue for the recipe company.

This is just one application that is taking advantage of Translation Cloud's capabilities. Each week, more companies are integrating Translation Cloud into their apps in new and creative ways. The continued popularity is what makes the application's creator, Alex Buran, look towards next year's SXSW festival as a possible option to showcase Translation Cloud to a wider audience.

"South By Southwest is one of the best events for new tech companies and startups to introduce their new projects to the rest of the world. At the rate it is spreading, Translation Cloud might stand a chance at being one of the great disruptors at next year's 2013 festival," states Alex Buran, CEO Translation Cloud.

Viable multi-lingual solutions are still a big issue in the online world today. As the globalization of the web continues to grow at an exponential rate, there is still no perfect solution to providing fast, accurate, or cheap translations.

Machine translators provide fast and free translations, but they are not accurate. Professional translators provide accurate translations but they are neither fast nor cheap. Translation Cloud solves these issues by providing a database of professional human translators that are crowdsourced the text delivered to them through the Translation Cloud app. The revised translation is then sent back automatically to the recipient.

Everything is done with a simple click of a button. Best of all, it is a unified, cross-platform program that can be easily adapted and integrated into other apps that wish to make use of its crowdsourcing functionality.

To access the API, developers can go to http://www.translationcloud.net/developers to sign up and receive their unique API Key to get started.
