New Site Helps Golfers Improve Their Short Game and Lower Their Scores

Short-Game.com gives people the ability to improve their short game and lower their golf scores with weekly articles, interviews, and golf related videos.

MODENA, NY, September 26, 2010 (Press-News.org) Short-Game.com, a new website dedicated to golf's short game, has announced its latest service: providing free golf related articles, interviews, and videos to golf enthusiasts looking to improve their game. The site's content, which includes articles on putting, chipping, pitching, and bunker play, as well as articles on how to stop shanking the ball, are now available to subscribers and site visitors on a weekly basis.

Most people do not realize that the game of golf consists mostly of short game shots. Statistics from the United States Golf Association (USGA) showed that over 60 percent of shots taken in professional golf tournaments in 2009 were from 100 yards or less- the distance of shot generally regarded to as short game.

Short-Game.com was founded to bring awareness to that statistic and help people improve upon their short game and overall golf game.

When asked about how his company, Short-Game.com, can help people with to improve their short game, Short-Game.com creator, Kevin Oefelein said, "We've developed a system for helping people improve their short game and lower their overall scores. Every week we produce detailed and free articles, interviews, podcasts, and videos to help people take strokes off their game by focusing more on their short game."

In addition to publishing content directly on their blog, Short-Game.com provides information packed reports as well as e-books focused on short game technique and strategy. These reports are published in PDF, MP3 audio, as well as HTML formats in addition to reports and e-books formatted specifically for e-readers like the Apple Ipad, Amazon Kindle, Barnes and Noble Nook, and Sony Reader.
