U-Reach Releases Intelligent CF Duplicator Gold Edition

FOSTER, CITY, CA, March 29, 2012 (Press-News.org) Following the introduction of the Intelligent Series flash duplicators in Jan 2012, U-Reach has recently released a Compact Flash Gold Edition, nicknamed Golden Fox CF, to pack in more features for the more demanding professionals.

With its base line Silver Edition, the Intelligent Series tests and duplicates flash media such as CF, SD/microSD, and USB drives; the bundled H3/H5 quality inspection utilities have been so effective identifying defects that more and more businesses are utilizing these duplicators to sift through flash memory media before loading data. To better meet demands from factories that rely on these duplicators for their mission-critical operations, U-Reach has recently released the Golden Fox CF with two major enhancements—burn-in testing and production logging.

For factories or businesses that are meticulous in the quality of their CF cards, the burn-in testing helps pick out the bad apples by continuously writing and verifying data for a desired number of cycles or a specified duration (30 min to 30 days). With burn-in testing conducted simultaneously on all ports, this Gold Edition offers an effective and efficient utility to stress-test media before a flawless duplication takes place.

The other addition is the logging capability. For operators who need detailed job reports for auditing or trouble-shooting purposes, Golden Fox CF can store up to 30,000 records and dump those all in a CF card for easy access. A typical record starts with a sequence number and timestamp, followed by port ID, status and task performed, and concludes with card-specific information such as brand, model and serial number. There's an optional password protection to safeguard all logged records.

Golden Fox CF will be available in a large selection from eight ports up to 120 ports and will be showcased at U-Reach booth SL13415, Las Vegas Convention Center, during 2012 NAB Show, April 16-19.
