LateRooms.com - Dance Village in Naples 'offers an atmosphere of cultural exchange'

Dance enthusiasts may want to head to Naples in October to take part in the cultural exchange that is Dance Village.

2010-09-28
NAPLES, ITALY, September 28, 2010 (Press-News.org) Naples will be hosting Dance Village this autumn, which the artistic director has lauded for creating an atmosphere of cultural exchange.

Running from October 29th to 31st, the event will see all sorts of dance styles being performed and perfected, as there are workshops and classes, as well as shows to attend.

This clash of disciplines could make the occasion fascinating for guests at Naples hotels with an interest in this medium of expression.

Artistic director of Dance Village Guiseppe Carbone listed ballet, tango, hip-hop and jazz as some of the forms of dancing that will be focused on over the three days.

In his view, this creates an "intense cultural and artistic exchange", as representatives from each style interact with each other and share ideas.

The event will take place at the Art Garage and will see some top international performers strut their stuff, but also offer an impressive variety of workshops that will allow individuals to improve their own skills.

People do not have to worry if they are complete beginners, since many of the courses are designed to be attended by novices.

Each of the activities is individually priced, but anyone who wants the freedom to go to nearly all of the courses on offer can buy a multi-pass for EUR270 (GBP230).

For more information on this event visit the Dance Village website or contact the venue on +39 081 3031395.
