JES Presents to ODU Civil Engineering Graduates

Scott Davis, P.E., JES Vice President and ODU alumnus, and David E. Stinnette, P.E., JES Director of Engineering, presented to Dr. Isao Ishabashi, P.E's. Advanced Foundation Engineering class. The JES engineers taught the students about engineered helical foundation support systems and practical applications.

"We really enjoyed your presentation since [helical piles] are not written into most foundation textbooks and I think it is an excellent alternate to regular piles," said Dr. Isa Ishibashi, P.E.

Participants were enthusiastic about the JES presentation, asking many technical questions about the foundation support systems and helical piles.

Scott Davis, P.E., said, "ODU has an excellent engineering program and we're always happy to speak to the students about foundation support systems, methods and symptoms of structural problems."
