AUBURN HILLS, MI, April 13, 2012 (Press-News.org) FortrezZ was established in 2008 with the goal of manufacturing and providing affordable and easy to use products based on a proven successful technology.
The new sensors are a continuation of FortrezZ's proven technology in leak detection. Improvements and changes over the previous generation include a completely new enclosure with more advanced sensing elements, improved power consumption, use of AA batteries, and firmware changes to allow for better communication with z-wave gateways / controllers. Color options include black and white.
The new sensors also include temperature reporting and freeze detection which was a popular feature in the previous generation. Temperature reports help homeowners monitor temperature variations within their home and discover potentially risky areas.
Ready to be sold to distributors and installers of home automation, the new sensors will fill demand from customers looking for peace of mind when away from home. The new sensors will be an integral part of the FortrezZ "Water and Freeze" Detection, Alarm, and Damage Prevention System. Paired with FortrezZ's Emergency Water Shut-off Valve, the sensors will detect a leak and the Water supply to the home will automatically be shut off to prevent further damage.
Named, WWA01AA and WWA02AA, the new water sensors are Z-WaveTM enabled devices and are fully compatible with any Z-WaveTM enabled network.

One in 10 Truck Drivers Is Dangerously Sleep-Deprived While On the Road
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports that over 100,000 police-reported crashes occur each year directly caused by drowsy driving, a condition some experts liken to driving drunk. The NHTSA does not have statistics that indicate when driver fatigue is merely a contributing factor, nor is it aware of how many drowsy driver car or truck accidents go unreported.
Drowsy driving can lead to:
-Unintended lane changes or veering onto the shoulder of the road
-Slower reaction ...

The Federal Trade Commission received a record number of complaints against debt collectors in 2011, logging almost 181,000 consumer complaints. Many Oregon residents are turning to bankruptcy to help end creditor harassment, but federal law protects consumers who do not file bankruptcy from abusive collection ...

New Negotiation Timelines in Connecticut Medical Malpractice Cases
The trajectory of any medical malpractice case depends on a series of factors: the complexity of the evidence proving the alleged harm, whether existing law provides clear answers about liability, and the insurance company's willingness to negotiate a solution that is fair to the injured party or surviving family members.
Negotiated settlements can provide important advantages to plaintiffs by reducing the stress and uncertainty of the legal process and providing necessary compensation more quickly ...

Is Your Doctor Telling You the Truth? Study Results May Surprise You
