New Online Dating Strategy Gives Women 100% Control, Eliminates Online Harassment

Check Him Out (www.checkhimout.com) empowers women to "make the first move" and makes finding a man as easy as shopping for the latest fashions.

2012-04-21
NEW YORK, NY, April 21, 2012 (Press-News.org) One of the biggest complaints that single women have about online dating is that they get a barrage of emails and messages from men as soon as they join a site. Under those conditions, it becomes difficult for women to differentiate between men they might be interested in and those they are not.

Now, there's a new service designed to help women restore their confidence in online dating by giving them 100 percent control and that enables them to "shop" for men the same way they shop for new clothes.

Check Him Out (www.checkhimout.com) is the first dating site where women have the power to "make the first move" by initiating contact with men they are interested in. For men, they must fill out their profiles and then wait to be added to a woman's "dating shopping bag" before any contact can be made.

"Women have been objectified by men since the beginning of time" said Teddy Truchot, co-founder of Check Him Out. "We created this site to give women a safe, secure and fun place where they can 'shop' for men, and where the guys are now the objects.

"Recently, Check Him Out created female profiles (with and without photos) at three major dating websites to examine the immediate activity they would get from male members. During the first week after registration, these female profiles received an average of 625 messages from men on these sites.

Unlike typical dating sites where women are often harassed by unwelcome suitors, Check Him Out shifts away from the "meat market" atmosphere and gives women a shopping destination where they can browse for available men. Once their profiles are posted, male members can view the profiles of women on the site, but they cannot interact with them or send messages until they have been "bagged" by a woman first.

However, men can bid for higher rankings in the women's searches, or send a "crush" or a virtual gift to get a woman's attention using CHO's pay-as-you-go credits system.

Check Him Out will officially launch on May 7, but singles who join the website before midnight Pacific Time on May 6 will receive free credits. To register, go to http://www.checkhimout.com.
