DataServices, LLLC Offers to Extend Laboratory Information Management (LIMS) Systems with Minimal Impact

DataServices can extend any LIMS system with minimal impact to a lab's work flow as well as build the missing connector pieces current LIMS don't deliver.

2012-04-25
PORTLAND, OR, April 25, 2012 (Press-News.org) DataServices, LLC is proud to announce the launch of its new global business operation, offering a full-featured web based reporting system with flexible configurations for clinical diagnostic laboratories.

DataServices has developed and licenses to users its Software as a Service platform, marketed under the name Lab Connector. The platform includes a suite of options including a unique reporting engine, which provides an easy to use, browser-based system platform, where diagnostic lab partners can view patient's lab test results in a user-friendly html format, email their patients, fax or print.

Additional features of Lab Connector are an online portal, patient portal, customer service representative portal, patient assessment engine, shopping cart and a health care provider search directory. DataServices will eliminate the need of multiple, dedicated data servers at a laboratory by offering a virtualized, HIPAA Compliant Hosting Architecture. Also, the team at DataServices is HL7 trained developers and can offer HL7 interface into existing LIMS systems or healthcare provider's ERM systems.

DataServices Lab Connector's objective is to provide a platform that better suits the realities of delivering laboratory test results to a professional healthcare practice, while taking the opportunity to stimulate a more environmentally friendly, potentially paperless approach to test results management. "Our goal is to provide a platform that better suits the realities of delivering laboratory test results to a professional healthcare practice and patients" said Joe Bloniarz, President. "We pride ourselves on our ability to drive measurable results to help our clients move their business forward," he added.

DataServices, based in Portland Oregon, story began in 2010 when as individual contractors they were brought on board at a major laboratory in Beaverton Oregon, to build a new laboratory results experience. The team has a combined 50 years programming/integration/data systems experience and are passionate about working with labs, to create results that matter.
