The Launching of EP Global Establishes a Family Legacy. Miami, FL April 29, 2012 Priscilla Dames of Miami and her son, Ellis J. Dames who now resides in Atlanta, Georgia will launch EP Global. An import export company on Friday, May 4, 2012

2012-05-02
BISCAYNE PARK, FL, May 02, 2012 (Press-News.org) The back story is an interesting one. During a visit from her home in Indianapolis, Indiana, Salathiel Wells realized her daughter and grandson were learning the intricacies of international trade. With a call to the VP of Murphy Robes, an American owned company, that manufactures a variety of robes, church apparel and products, a second and third generation became dealers of Murphy Robes, a nearly 100 year old business. Wells Robes Unlimited Services has been renting and selling robes and related church products for over 30 years. "It was exciting that my mom could help us get started but what I really got a kick out of was judges seeming to know my mother and recognize her when we were out and about during my visits home," Priscilla commented.

Born and raised in Miami, Ellis attended Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta where he still resides. After majoring in Communications and Media with a Business focus, he's been highlighted in a magazine with a group of students that founded Vision, Inc., a promotions and event planning company. Eventually, he added Burris Dames Global, which includes real estate and production ventures. Priscilla is the CEO of Wingspan Seminars, a conflict resolution based business that provides training to create safe environments while strengthening relationships. Wingspan has proffered Ms. Dames numerous international opportunities. Collectively, the mother- son team has been in business for twenty years. With Ms. Wells as an affiliate, the trio has over fifty years of experience.

EP Global's launch, A Fashionable Robing, is May 4, 2012, 10:00 am-2:00 pm. It will take place in their new office at 1400 Biscayne Blvd. Ste. #208-25. The launch will include a seminar, International Business Protocol and Etiquette presented by Desmond Alufohai, Miami-Dade International Trade Coordinator, and a fashion show highlighting EP Global's apparel by Murphy Robes. With the Miami-Dade International Trade Agency and Enterprise Florida's support, The Foreign Diplomatic Core has been invited. The luncheon event will conclude with a mimosa toast!

When cells hit the wall: UCLA engineers put the squeeze on cells to diagnose disease

If the balloon's elastic rubber was stiffer, an even smaller change in shape would be observed. By simply analyzing how much a balloon changes shape upon hitting a wall, you can uncover information about its physical properties. Although cells are not simple sacks of fluid, they also contain viscous and elastic properties related to the membranes that surround them; their internal ...
