DUBAI, UAE, May 04, 2012 (Press-News.org) British comedy legend John Cleese will take his unique brand of humour to Dubai next month.
The star of Monty Python's Flying Circus and Fawlty Hours is due to appear at the Madinat Jumeirah's First Group Theatre from Wednesday May 23rd to Saturday May 26th.
People attending An Evening with John Cleese can expect a hilarious one-man show that sees the 72-year-old reflect on his highly eventful career as a comedic writer and performer.
As well as his success in the UK with various film and TV projects, Cleese cracked America with the 1988 crime caper A Fish Called Wanda and has appeared in two James Bond movies.
More recently, he has performed voice acting work in Shrek Forever After and appeared in the acclaimed South African film Spud.
Tickets for Cleese's Dubai performances are priced at 450 dirhams (GBP76.10) for seats in the stalls and 350 dirhams for balcony seats.
All evening shows will begin at 19:30 local time, with a matinee performance on Friday May 25th starting at 14:30.
