In this position, Chang will oversee the research, specifications and design for various projects, as well as interpret codes and form relationships with clients and consultants.

A native of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Chang received his bachelor's degree in architecture from Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario. With 18 years of experience, he has worked for award-winning architectural firms in New York, San Francisco and Seattle, with projects including K-12 and university educational design, as well as projects for major corporations, municipalities and performing arts organizations. A member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), Chang is also a commissioner for the Wake County Citizen's Energy Advisory Commission. He currently resides in Raleigh with his wife and daughter.
