Silverwing Golf Course in Calgary Announces New Banquet Hall Facility

Construction on new 3,200 square foot banquet facility is underway

CALGARY, AB, May 04, 2012 (Press-News.org) Silverwing Golf Course Managing Partner Barry Ehlert announced today that construction on a new banquet facility is well underway at the NE Calgary golf course.

"This is very exciting for Silverwing because it opens up a world of opportunities for us in terms of the types of events we can host, " commented Ehlert. "This will be an asset for all the charity and corporate golf tournaments that we host, but will also be in use throughout the year for other events such as weddings, corporate parties and private functions."

The construction crew has been hard at work and the 3,200 square foot facility is well on its way to being completed. When finished, it will seat upwards of 300 people. Construction is currently on target for a June 1 opening.

"We are very excited about all the new opportunities this allows for our guests and clients. While our existing clubhouse has served us well thus far, the banquet facility is going to be a fantastic addition to Silverwing" concluded Ehlert.
