LONG BEACH, CA, May 11, 2012 (Press-News.org) The Top 3 finalists in a search for women deserving the Ultimate Mommy Makeover will gather at a day of beauty and pampering on Thursday, May 3 in their honor at Aesthetic Edge, which Best of LA calls "Southern California's finest medi-spa." Molly Fulbright, co-founder of Aesthetic Edge and a mother of a 3 ½ year-old and 6 month old herself, will welcome the top moms as they undergo the initial stages of their "ultimate mommy makeovers," which include fillers, the Botox alternative known as Dysport, laser resurfacing, facials, teeth whitening, etc.
The top 3 finalists were selected by a panel of judges from nearly 100 entries in a search for "very special moms" that was conducted 1 month ago. Their stories include:
Christine Boucher (41, Torrance): After giving birth to a second daughter, she attempted to reenter the job market but because of the economic downturn, she had trouble finding work. Instead she set her sights on a career in law and began hitting the books while attending the needs of her children. She hopes that this makeover will help her look her best as she tries to land her first job as an attorney.
Mary Ann Vasquez (33, Whittier): This single mom of 3 juggles three modest self-made businesses (i.e. cleaning houses, selling homemade jewelry and being an online assistant), so she can remain a "stay-at-home mom." She has made great personal sacrifices to make sure her children attend a top private school and even rides with them each day via public transportation as she has no working car at this time.
Alli Baldocchi (34, Manhattan Beach): This mom of 3 young boys under the age of 6, including one with autism, always dreamed of a big family. There is little time left in her day after balancing her kids' busy schedule and managing the therapy bills that come along with a child with disabilities.
The ultimate mommy makeovers will be performed by Aesthetic Edge's Medical staff, led by Keith Marcus, M.D. and Michael Fulbright, DDS. Others donating include:
