BOSTON, MA, May 12, 2012 (Press-News.org) Senior Pastor Andy Thompson of World Overcomers Christian Church (http://www.wocconline.org) in Durham, N.C. will bring a life-changing word of truth to worshippers at two Boston-area churches this month. At 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 13, Thompson will lend Godly encouragement to worshippers as he shares in a Mother's Day celebration at Pastor Matt Chewning's Netcast Church (http://www.netcastchurch.org) at Briscoe Middle School, located at 7 Sohier Road in Beverly, Mass. On Sunday, May 20, Bishop G.A. Thompson will welcome his son to Jubilee Christian Church (http://www.jubileeboston.org) at 1500 Blue Hill Ave. in Boston to present a Gospel-centered message of spiritual empowerment at the 7:30 a.m., 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. services.

At the age of 15, Thompson answered God's call to ministry, later receiving his bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts in Boston and training at Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Okla. For more than 25 years, he has followed the command given in Mark 16:15 to "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation" and founded World Overcomers Christian Church in Durham, N.C. in 2003. Today, the church hosts more than 8,000 worshippers each week and is one of the fastest growing churches in America. Thompson has been married to First Lady LaShawn Thompson for 20 years, and they have four children and two adopted daughters.
