Rayze will make his label debut by being featured on two official mixtape releases by Kwano Sincere Entertainment Firm, LLC:
-June 15, 2012 Rayze¡ will be releasing his solo mixtape titled Hidden Catalog Mixtape Volume #1 hosted by: DJ Big Wil from the Allyantz DJs and A&R for Kwano Sincere Entertainment Firm, LLC.
-Rayze will make his acting debut this summer (2012) in an independent film production put together by Kwano Sincere Entertainment Firm, LLC and Stru.k.k World Entertainment Group, LLC.
-Single/Album release last third quarter 2012 with an overseas 2012 tour this fall following the above agenda.
About: Rayze was born in Harrisburg, PA and credits The Hill for his laid back Passive Aggressive mentality and assertiveness. These traits are what bring his rap style into existence. Rayze¡'s style is a mixture of all hip-hop¡¦s elements (song, instrumentation, sharp lyrics, the street and life¡'s teachings) rolled into one artist.
Rayze, born as Joseph Scott, has been on the music scene since 1994. He started rhyming for fun as a past time during, and, in-between classes in middle school. Soon it went from fun to a daily ritual. Soon that daily ritual turned into a personal contest, that contest turned into battle ciphers and those battle ciphers turned into creative writing and opened the gate for the love of music that lay dormant in him for so long.
Throughout Rayze¡'s musical career he has run into many influential people and have been to many critically influential places. He went to school with many people like him at Milton Hershey and developed a life-long family that urged him on and supported (and continues to support) him throughout the journey. Rayze spent years in Philly going to school at The Art Institute of Philadelphia for Graphic Arts and developed his style performing at clubs and ciphers and eventually came into contact with a now close friend from Delaware, who put him in the studio for the first time. From Philly, Rayze moved to DC where he continued school at The Art Institute of Washington and everything came together. He ran into his musical family just being in the right place at the right time and from there the rest is history.
Currently Rayze is living in the DMV (DC/Maryland/Virginia) area feverishly working on multiple projects in the studio and simultaneously working to establish a fully independent music label. To date, Rayze has been featured on projects such as The Elements¡ Heaven and Hellaware Compilation and DJ Luciano¡'s Underground Rising and St. Valentine's Day Massacre. Rayze has also released an album with his close friend Mach 19 aka One Nine entitled The Sample. More recently, Rayze released his first solo album Eclipse, has been featured on Coast 2 Coast Indie Top 50 Mixtape Vol. 71, and is anticipating the release of his second solo album, a double CD entitled The Club and The Let Out.
In the near future you can expect to see Rayze performing at venues across the country while planning his next few projects (R&R, Sample2 and Identity Crisis) and making music with international acts as well. Rayze also intends to go back to school for Audio Engineering to procure the Avid Protools Expert Certification, establish his Publishing and Distribution companies, do work as an A&R and become one of the next major influences for where the music business is heading. Rayze is the epitome of an Artist.
