Amazing Books teams with "It's a Small World" composer on a REVOLUTIONARY 3D advancement in children's literature.

Based around their exclusive and interactive Flomotion (tm) control system developed for the iPhone , iPod touch and iPad , Amazing Books (tm) ( http://www.theamazingbooks.com ) updates the classic pop-up book for the digital age.

Simply by running your finger back and forth across the screen, you make the characters come to life and perform each part of the story as you read. Ever wanted to take control of the Big Bad Wolf and make him blow down the straw house? Now you can! You are in control of the "flow" of the animation. Drag your finger slowly, super fast or any speed you wish and watch the characters move. You can even reverse the animation by moving your finger backwards. This technology brings a new level of interaction and involvement to every story, and immerses the user in each page.

Designed for children ages 1 to 8, the first literary classic, THE THREE LITTLE PIGS ( 21 pages ), will be released in English and Spanish on ITunes, October 1st. It will feature a 'universal download' viewable in both Stereoscopic (3D) and two-dimensional (2D) versions on the iPad plus a two-dimensional (2D) version viewable on the iPhone , and iPod touch . Within the coming months, the books will be released in Google Android and Microsoft Mobile compatible versions. The company plans on adding Japanese, Mandarin Chinese and German translations.

The application is priced at $2.99.

The Amazing line of books will continue in mid-October with the release of "Jack and The Bean Stalk, followed by "Little Red Riding Hood" plus the first in the Lil' Traveler series of books entitled, "My First Trip to Washington DC" in November, 2010. The release of "The Night Before Christmas" will coincide with the 2010 holiday season.

Richard Sherman and his brother Robert are perhaps best known for the song, "It's a Small World," featured in the theme park ride of the same name at Disneyland, Disney World and other Disney properties. Together they also were awarded two Oscars for their music in the Disney feature film, "Mary Poppins," the stage version of which currently can be seen on Broadway and around the world as well. As composers and lyricists they created other songs in films including "Chitty Chitty, Bang Bang, The Jungle Book, Snoopy Come Home, Winnie the Pooh, The Parent Trap, The Aristocats," and "Charlotte's Web." Mr. Sherman recently added a new and original song to the soundtrack of "Iron Man 2" and coming soon, "Captain America."

"We're thrilled that a composer of Richard Sherman's caliber has brought our Amazing characters to life," said Ben Rosenberg, co-founder of Amazing Books. "His songs have stayed in the minds and hearts of generations children and adults. We're sure his memorable tunes will help our delightful books remain in your own children's hearts and minds as well."

Mr. Sherman wrote 8 songs for the upcoming book releases and instrumental versions will be available on ITunes, free download, preceding the release of a full album of original music plus lyrics in 2011.

"When initially approached by the partners, I was intrigued by the way they approached the re-telling of these stories and the wonderfully unique characters and worlds created," Sherman said. "Pop-up books have been a favorite of mine since I was boy, and after one viewing of the product, I realized I would be part of something unique and extraordinary. How very amazing!!"

They both have earned nine Academy Award nominations, two Grammy Awards and four Grammy nominations, and 23 gold and platinum albums. The Sherman Brothers were inducted into the Songwriter's Hall of Fame in New York City in 2005, and wrote music for the stage adaptations of "Chitty Chitty, Bang Bang" and "Mary Poppins" in recent years.
