Cary Innovation Center Hosts IdeaSlam On Wednesday, May 16
Organization Invites Entrepreneurs To Share Business Ideas And Expertise, Hear From Founder Of Connor's Science Universe, LLC

The Cary Innovation Center (http://caryinnovationcenter.org), a local organization dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs by offering professional mentoring and business education programs, has announced it will host IdeaSlam on Wednesday, May 16 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the center's office at 201 W. Chatham St., Suite 202. Participants will share their business ideas in an open and honest setting, receive constructive feedback from Cary Innovation Center facilitators, and have the opportunity to network with other IdeaSlam participants. The IdeaSlam event functions as a gateway into the Cary Innovation Center's Ideation program, which helps entrepreneurs structure and communicate their business plans, transforming raw ideas into refined strategies that can be evaluated and assessed. Specifically, ideation involves identifying an opportunity, an offering, a target market and a plan for generating profits.Conner Bernstein, who at age 17 runs Connor's Science Universe, LLC, is the featured guest speaker for this event. Bernstein began developing the company as a 9-year-old 4th grader in Chapel Hill and has successfully positioned Connor's Science Universe, LLC, better known as Connor's Kits for Kids, as one of the fastest growing companies in the science and nature toy business.
