NEWPORT BEACH, CA, May 18, 2012 (Press-News.org) Harmony and Hoops, a celebrity basketball game, will showcase former NBA players, actors, recording artists, and others who are "about peace," and is part of World Peace Day activities. Newly added participants include: Actors Jeremy Sumpter, Scott Porter, Arlen Escarpeta and Hector David Jr.; actress Alyson Stoner; WWE Diva Champion Maryse Ouellet; former Mr. Olympia, Michael O'Hearn; celebrity fitness trainer, Ashley Conrad; and Assad Ali, son of boxing great Muhammad Ali.

Also scheduled to appear: NBA Hall of Famer, DENNIS RODMAN; NBA All-Star, SAM CASSELL; Former WBO Heavyweight Champion, Shannon "The Cannon" Briggs; NBA legends Sam Williams, and Michael Cage; Actors Clifton Powell, Texas Battle, Matthew Fahey, Damien Haas and Carlon Jeffery; Actress Lauren London; rapper Warren G and producer Master P; Hilton Hotel heiress Kathy Hilton; Members of Housewives of Orange County and Housewives of Beverly Hills, and YouTube Star, Jordan Newt.

Supporters include: PENNY MARSHALL and the RETIRED NBA PLAYERS ASSOCIATION - LA CHAPTER.

Proceeds from Harmony and Hoops will benefit Autism Speaks, For OC Neurodevelopmental Center (part of CHOC/UCI Healthcare System), ReachBack LA - Inner-City Health Program, and The Tyler Foundation For Disabilities.
