RICHMOND, VA, May 18, 2012 (Press-News.org) YardWorks, Central Virginia's leading manufacturer and retailer of landscaping products for residential and commercial sites, is set to officially open their fifth location Wednesday, May 23rd at 12290 Patterson Avenue in Goochland, Virginia. Members of the Powhatan and Goochland Chambers of Commerce and officials from Goochland County Economic Development will join YardWorks employees for a ribbon cutting ceremony slated to start at 12 noon.
Members of the media are invited to attend and stay for a delicious barbecue lunch, courtesy of Alexander's BBQ.
Serving Central Virginia since 2001, YardWorks has provided customers with superior service and products available at 4 other locations (Moseley, Powhatan, Short Pump and Squinquarter) - and with the opening of their site on Patterson Avenue in Goochland, YardWorks is providing more convenience to West End customers.
"Our new Patterson Avenue location will extend our services into the West End of Richmond and further into Goochland, creating easy accessibility for homes and businesses in that area," says Bill Stinson, CEO of YardWorks. "On weekends people's time is precious, and they don't want to waste that time driving out of the way for landscaping supplies. We are thrilled to be serving our friends in the West End, just 2 miles east of Rt. 288."
The Patterson Avenue YardWorks location will offer all of the same services and products that are available at the four original YardWorks locations, including pick-up, delivery and installation of mulches, soils, stones, turf seed and more.
"We're really looking forward to the opening of our new Patterson Ave store," says YardWorks COO Robbie Urbine. "With such a tough economy in the last few years, we are especially grateful to all of our loyal customers and thankful to be expanding our business."
