Pictures Plus Offers Customers a New Fanatic Card Loyalty Rewards Program with Hero Points

Pictures Plus, a Hawaiian custom framing retailer, implemented a POS-Integrated customer loyalty program using Retail Hero's loyalty software.

2012-05-23
GERMANTOWN, MD, May 23, 2012 (Press-News.org) POSitive Technology and Retail Hero partnered up to offer Microsoft Dynamics RMS customer Pictures Plus an unparalleled POS-integrated customer loyalty rewards system known as Hero Points.

Hero Points for Microsoft Dynamics RMS and POS2009 allows customers to collect loyalty points and redeem them for rewards where the store owner is given the capability to define both collection and redemption schedules and provide the bonus and welcome points and various accelerators. At the POS till during a transaction the system automatically prompts the cashier to reward the customer according to the redemption schedule.

Pictures Plus, the premiere Hawaiian custom framing specialist, tailored the needs of the rewards program by creating the free Fanatic Card. This card qualifies customers for added savings on specially featured products, plus the ability to earn points for every dollar spent. These points are worth a penny each on future purchases up to 50% off of the total purchase. "When we created our Loyalty Points program, we had our loyal customers in mind. We wanted to offer our valued clients the best rewards specials possible. We wanted to give them an unheard of rate of return on their spending," says Charissa Wong, Network Operations Manager for Pictures Plus. "Our customers are really getting into the loyalty program... they love it," says Charissa. "Since implementing Hero Points, aka "Fanatic Card", we have seen a marked increase in repeat customer activity."

DNA barcoding verified the discovery of a highly disconnected crane fly species

DNA barcoding verified the discovery of a highly disconnected crane fly species
2012-05-21
Northwestern Europe harbors one of the best known biotas, thanks to the long faunistic and floristic traditions practiced there. However, some animal groups are far better known than others. The diversity of true flies there is fascinating, and undescribed species of flies, midges and gnats are not uncommon. Because Northwestern Europe was almost totally glaciated as recently as 10 000 years ago, endemic animal species of that region are generally lacking, or are exceptions. Hence, most NW European insects and other species have colonized the area following the withdrawal ...
