BALI, INDONESIA, May 23, 2012 (Press-News.org) Bali visitors will be able to take part in a competitive and challenging race event this June when the Biznet Bali International Triathlon is held once again.

Marking the sixth edition of the annual athletics challenge, this year's triathlon takes place on June 24th and sees participants competing in a number of events, all set against the backdrop of a scenic Bali landscape.

An Olympic-distance course allows committed competitors to take a 1.5 km swim in Jimabaran Bay before embarking on a 40 km bike ride through hilly paved roads, culminating in a 10 km flat run to the finish line.

Also available is a shorter sprint-distance course, while a five km run option is also offered.

Each participant will receive a race t-shirt, swim cap and water bottle in addition to the opportunity to compete for lavish prizes, while the entry fee also includes access to the pre-race dinner event and post-race awards festival.

Entry for the Olympic-distance course costs $150 (GBP93.60) and $120 for the sprint-distance event, while tickets for the five km run are priced at $11.
