AsiaRooms.com - Tear it Up at Thailand's Hua Hin Alleycat Bike Race

Skilled bike riders will take part in a fast-paced bike race called Hua Hin Alleycat in Thailand on June 2nd 2012.

2012-05-24
HUA HIN, THAILAND, May 24, 2012 (Press-News.org) A fast-paced bike ride called the Hua Hin Alleycat will be taking place in Thailand's Prachuap Khiri Khan province on June 2nd 2012.

Sponsored by K-Trade International and TSY Cycle Boutique, the underground courier-style race will be free to enter and welcomes all sorts of competitors, riding any type of bike.

Described by organisers as an event for "mashers, trickers and hipsters", the race begins at 21:00 local time at the Pone Kingpetch public park at Amphoe Hua Hin and will see racers competing for a selection of prizes.

Alleycat races of this kind have their roots in Canada around two decades ago and have since become popular worldwide, with the emphasis being on the fun of taking part, rather than the competitive element.

Those involved will also be presented with free spoke cards to commemorate their participation in the race.

Organisers have stated that the final route and additional details will be announced on the night, only ten minutes before the beginning of the race itself.

Competitive bikers can choose from a huge selection of Thailand accommodation at AsiaRooms.com, such as the Centara Grand Beach & Resort Hua Hin.

2012-05-24
Energy production is always a hot topic in America, but there has seldom been such an influx of fuel-related news as there has been recently. Americans, growing weary of rising costs at the gasoline pump, are beginning to hear that increased oil production could get those fuel costs back down by the end of the summer. Meanwhile, natural gas supplies remain high, where prices are at historic lows. But while these two energy sources occupy much of the discussion about America's fuel industry, a company called ILG Energy is calling for more research to be done in the realm ...

Joel Bernheim Calls for Fairness in Divorce Courts

2012-05-24
Divorce laws can vary greatly from one state to the next, but one thing that has long remained consistent is the fact that, in most divorce cases, conventional gender roles are strongly upheld, particularly when children are in the picture. Historically, it has typically been the father who ends up paying alimony and child support to the mother, who often gets custody of the children. A recent report finds that this might be changing, however. According to a new study, reported by Reuters, more women are paying child support and alimony to their ex-husbands than ever before. ...
