Miranda Creative Honored for Design and Innovation

NORWICH, CT, June 08, 2012 (Press-News.org) Miranda Creative, the Norwich-based marketing agency, has been honored with five design awards in the past month. The Miranda Creative team received two American Web Design Awards from Graphic Design USA (GDUSA) Magazine and three Lamplighter Awards from the New England Society for Healthcare Communications (NESHCo).

"We are thrilled to be recognized by both a national design magazine and a local communications society," said Maria Miranda, Creative Director at Miranda Creative. "I work with a team of amazingly talented designers, and these awards are true honors for us all."

The American Web Design Awards recognized Miranda Creative's work on the following two websites: Woyasz & Sons Funeral Service, Inc. http://woyaszandson.com; and Lawrence + Memorial Hospital's internal communications portal http://LMFirstHand.org.

The three Lamplighter Awards honoring Miranda Creative also recognized the agency's work in internal communications for Lawrence + Memorial Hospital. These awards included a Gold Award for the design of LMFirstHand.org, a Silver Award for the social/new media campaign for the hospital, and an Award of Excellence for the design of printed materials.
