On June 14, 2012, popular director, producer, and screenwriter Judd Apatow and musician, film composer, and producer, Jon Brion, will host a unique evening of comedy and music at the Broad Stage in Santa Monica to benefit 826LA. Guests for the show will include Grammy winners Peter Frampton and RZA, Emmy Award winners Ray Romano and Pee-wee Herman (Paul Reubens), and comedians Bob Newhart and Colin Quinn.

With a star-studded line-up, 826 founder Dave Eggers, and other celebrity guests, this event is sure to be an unforgettable night. Before the performance, VIP ticket buyers will join Judd Apatow at an exclusive reception. All proceeds from this event will support the non-profit writing and tutoring center 826LA and its free programs for children.

Jon Brion is a multi-instrumental musician, composer, and producer, who has produced albums by Fiona Apple, Aimee Mann, Elliott Smith, Rufus Wainwright, Brad Mehldau, Of Montreal, and Kanye West. Brion is also an accomplished film composer, earning Grammy nominations for his work on Magnolia and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. His other films include Boogie Nights, I „Z Huckabees, Punch-Drunk Love, and Step Brothers. Most recently, he is scoring Judd Apatow¡¦s This is 40. Brion¡¦s Friday nights at the Largo are an L.A. institution. These solo performances showcase his improvisation talents and feature innovative looping of drums, piano, guitar, bass, and vocals.

ABOUT PETER FRAMPTON
Grammy winner Peter Frampton remains one of the most celebrated artists and guitarists in rock history. At sixteen, he was lead singer and guitarist for British band the Herd. At eighteen, he co-founded one of the first super groups, seminal rock act Humble Pie. His session work includes such legendary artists as George Harrison, Harry Nilsson, David Bowie, Jerry Lee Lewis, Ringo Starr, John Entwistle and many others. ABOUT COLIN QUINN
Colin Quinn is a stand-up comedian, writer, actor and producer well established in the comedy world. Quinn is best known for his five years spent on the cast of Saturday Night Live, and for his show Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn which aired on Comedy Central. In 2004, Quinn was named #56 on Comedy's Central's list of the 100 greatest standup comedians of all time. Quinn's career kicked off with his role as co-host to MTV's game show Remote Control. More recently Quinn has been starring in films such as Adam Sandler's movie Grown-Ups, as well this summer¡¦s That's My Boy. In 2010 Quinn premiered his one-man show on Broadway, Colin Quinn Long Story Short, directed by Jerry Seinfeld. When not on the road, Colin can be found regularly performing at the Comedy Cellar in New York City.

ABOUT PAUL REUBENS
Famed actor, writer, film producer, and comedian Paul Reubens is best known for his alternate persona, Pee-wee Herman. Born out of Los Angeles-based improv group The Groundlings, Pee-wee Herman became famous through his stage show ¡§The Pee-wee Herman Show,¡¨ and later his 1985 comedy Pee-wee¡¦s Big Adventure directed by Tim Burton. Reubens went on to create, co-write, and co-direct ¡§Pee-wee¡¦s Playhouse¡¨ on CBS, earning twenty-two Emmy Awards during its five-year run. Pee-wee was finally brought to Broadway in 2010 in a stage rendition of ¡§The Pee-wee Herman Show.¡¨ Reubens has also starred in a number of film and TV shows, including 30 Rock, Everybody Loves Raymond, and Murphy Brown. Reuben¡¦s film credits include Mystery Men, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and most recently Todd Solondz¡¦s Life During Wartime. Reubens has lent his voice to many projects, including Smurfs, Family Guy, and The Nightmare Before Christmas. Reubens next film will bring Pee-wee back to life in a road adventure produced by Judd Apatow.

ABOUT RAY ROMANO
One of the most recognizable faces in comedy, Ray Romano is an actor, writer, and stand-up comedian best known for his starring role in the hit series ¡§Everybody Loves Raymond.¡¨ During his time on the show, Romano and the crew won a total of three Emmy Awards and four People¡¦s Choice Awards. Though Romano began his career as a stand-up comedian, he has since made his debut on the big screen with the film Ice Age, and has reprised his role in the successful sequels Ice Age: The Meltdown and Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs. Romano¡¦s other films include Eulogy, Welcome to Mooseport, and The Last Word. He is the author of the New York Times best-selling book Everything and a Kite. Robert Fitzgerald Diggs, better known by the stage name RZA, is an American Grammy-winning music producer, multi-instrumentalist, author, and occasional actor, director, and screenwriter. RZA is widely considered to be one of the most influential and landmark hip-hop producers of all time, producing nearly all of the Wu-Tang Clan's albums and affiliate¡¦s projects, while also serving as a member of the group. RZA released most of his solo work under the alter ego Bobby Digital, and also served as the founding member of hip-hop group Gravediggaz. RZA has starred in films such as Coffee and Cigarettes, American Gangster, Gospel Hill, Funny People, and Derailed. Currently you can find RZA appearing in the Showtime TV series, Californication.
