Attorney Scott Blass has been litigating complex civil cases for nearly 25 years. He has obtained seven figure verdicts on behalf of his clients in diverse areas of the law including verdicts of over $4 million in product liability, $8 million in an auto accident case and a $5.7 million verdict in a medical malpractice case. Prior to joining Bordas & Bordas in 1992, he worked as an insurance defense attorney and as Assistant Prosecuting attorney in Ohio County, West Virginia. He focuses his practice on catastrophic injury cases, as well as cases involving insurance bad faith, insurance agent negligence, and insurance coverage issues.
A graduate of West Virginia University College of Law, Scott was elected president of the West Virginia Association for Justice at the organization's annual convention in Charleston, West Virginia in June, 2012. The West Virginia Association for Justice represents more than 500 plaintiff's attorneys throughout West Virginia and surrounding states.
