MMI Public Relations Wins Two 2012 Hermes Creative Awards

Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals Recognizes Local Triangle Public Relations Firm

RALEIGH, NC, June 27, 2012 (Press-News.org) Patty Briguglio, CEO of MMI Public Relations (http://www.mmipublicrelations.com), a full-service public relations firm, has announced that the firm has won two 2012 Hermes Creative Awards from the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. The firm received a Gold Award in the Public Relations Campaign category for its work with Lenovo and the National Academy Foundation's mobile application development program launch. The project included a press conference at Apex High School with remarks from Gov. Bev Perdue, Wake County Public School Superintendent Tony Tata, Lenovo North America VP and General Manager Tom Looney and National Academy Foundation Senior VP of Programs David Moore about the launch of a new program to teach mobile app development to high school students across the United States.

Additionally, MMI Public Relations received an Honorable Mention award in the Social Media/Facebook Site category for its efforts in developing and growing the Facebook account for Carolina Beach, N.C. The Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional and emerging media. Hermes Creative Awards recognizes outstanding work in the industry while promoting the philanthropic nature of marketing and communication professionals.
