Covington Who's Who Selects Sherri McClane as an Executive Member of the Executive and Professional Registry

HOLLYWOOD, FL, June 28, 2012 (Press-News.org) Sherri McClane, Medical Technician for Electra Memorial Hospital, has been selected as an Executive Member of the Covington Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Sherri McClane's commitment to excellence in Healthcare.

McClane, who began working in her field in the early 1990s, currently serves as a medical technician overseeing phlebotomy, running and monitoring test results, monitoring quality control, and all aspects of lab work on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis. She also draws blood and handles other duties as needed.

"I make sure to take one day at a time," McClane said about her work, which can be stressful at times. "I always try to do my best every day."

McClane earned a State Member of the Year Award through AMT in 1993, as well as a Distinguished Achievement Award and numerous Exceptional Merit Awards throughout her career.
