Starting at 12:00 local time on Saturday September 25th, the occasion sees about 20 floats travelling along the streets of the French capital, with around 150 DJs blaring music out of huge sound systems to the delight of willing attendees.

Visitors hoping to be a part of this exciting and energetic festival will find the march snaking its way along Denfert Rochereau, St Michel Boulevard, Boulevard Saint Germain and ending up at Place de la Bastille after crossing the Seine at Pont de Sully.

It is free to attend and there will be plenty of revellers out and about enjoying themselves, which could make it a perfect break from sightseeing for Paris hotels guests who want to let their hair down.

What's on When explained that the parade is part of the Electronic Festival taking place in the city, which it claimed attracts about 400,000 partygoers.

"You can free your inner party animal afterwards too, in numerous bars and clubs across the capital," suggested the website.

The organisers of the Techno Parade urged people to come along to the after-party when the march is over, which runs from 22:00 to 06:00 local time in Elysee Montmartre.
