Beer Cartel Announces The Launch Of Its New Website

Beer Cartel announces the launch of its new website which reflects its increasing beer range, while providing a more user friendly experience.

2012-06-29
June 29, 2012 (Press-News.org) In 2009 Beer Cartel was created with the aim of creating an online community of beer lovers interested in celebrating the world of craft beer. Originally the business was focused on a website only offer; selling beer club subscriptions, beer gifts as well as cases of craft beer. Since acquiring a shop front presence in Artarmon, Sydney in 2011 the business has gone from strength to strength, now stocking over 300 beers. To reflect the ever increasing beer range, and in combination with demand for a better online user experience, the business has now officially launched its new website http://www.beercartel.com.au which is mobile enabled.

Over the last 3 years Beer Cartel has seen significant growth across all aspects of its business. In the last year alone it has developed a growler offer, continued to see large increases in its beer club membership, and is in the process of finalising development of a tasting room for future beer tasting events. Correspondingly, the business' in-store beer range has grown by over 300%, stocking beers from Australia, as well as a range of countries including New Zealand, United States, Belgium, England, Scotland, Germany, Denmark and Italy to name a few.

While demand for individual beers grew in-store so too did it online. As a result Beer Cartel decided to revamp its website, making it much easier for users to buy beers in singles, six packs or by the case. Beer Cartel owner Geoff Huens said he was extremely excited by the new website "In the past we'd been doing really well for those looking for beer related gifts, but lacked functionality for those buying individual beers for themselves. The new website means that customers can get an experience similar to in-store, with much better search functionality than the old site". Mr Huens said that in the past people would search online for beers that they would expect to be there based on communication from Beer Cartel but often couldn't find the product. "This new site means those issues will be a thing of the past" he said.

In an effort to fast-track the development of the new site, the site has been launched with a proportion of the beers that are available in store. Beer Cartel then plans to increase the number of beers that it sells online significantly each week. "What it means for consumers is, every time they log on there will be new beers to buy." Mr Huens said. To coincide with the launch of the Beer Cartel website

Beer Cartel is Sydney's leading craft beer bottleshop located in the industrial estate of Artarmon. The business has a focus on bringing quality beer from Australia and overseas to the masses. Its products include a monthly beer club, beer glasses, beer gifts and beer hampers. Products are available in store as well as online at http://www.beercartel.com.au.
