MARIETTA, GA, June 29, 2012 (Press-News.org) "Drive + Accountability = Goal Realized" -- Dr. Robyn Silverman - Tiger Rock's Child Development Expert
July 2012 is Accountability Month as part of Tiger Rock's Powerful Words Character Development program! Students will be studying, developing and experiencing powerful life lessons focusing on the Powerful Character Trait of Accountability. In addition to all of the physical skills that they'll be developing this month, students will be discussing and practicing the following concepts that will help them to understand and realize the value and benefits of becoming a person who is accountable and responsible for his/her actions, and the effect it has on them and everybody they interact with. Students will be focusing on the following topics both in and out of class:
• Accountability defined: What is it and when do we use it?
• Good Choices, Bad Choices: Rewards and consequences of our actions.
• Looking back and forward: Admitting and fixing mistakes.
• Accountability partners: Staying on track with our goals.
"Being an accountable person takes courage. Many people fear the consequences of their mistakes and choose to blame others rather than be accountable for their choices. Others get so caught up in feeling like their mistakes are a reflection of their own intelligence that they are quick to berate themselves rather than take productive action." says Dr. Robyn Silverman, Tiger Rock's child & adolescent expert, and creator of the Powerful Words Character Development system used at the facility.
Jerry Groce, Chief Instructor of Tiger Rock of Marietta says, "This month is going to life changing for so many of our members as we focus this entire month on helping them to really become accountable for all of their actions. We pride ourselves on building champions from the inside out...and being an accountable person is one of the many skills our members are proud to hone and display. Many of our families tell us that lessons like this are a natural part of what makes our academy so unique and valuable. Our students learn how to become the kind of person that, they themselves would look up to! As this community's premier Powerful Personal Development Center, we take this very seriously. We're thrilled to help our students and our community to thrive and succeed, and Accountability month is going to help us to do just that."
Tiger Rock's strong curriculum and the Powerful Words Character Development system provide our students with the opportunities to become UNSTOPPABLE in life. These lessons will remain with our students for life and we're honored to help them achieve the success that they deserve" says Mr. Groce.
Jerry Groce is the Chief of Tiger Rock and has helped thousands of kids, teens, and adults to embrace a positive and healthy lifestyle.
